Shaheen also visited Government Degree College Gool, where the affected families have been temporarily accommodated. The MLA listened to their grievances and assured them of full support in this hour of distress.

Sharing his deep anguish over the tragedy, Shaheen said, “My heart goes out to the families who have lost their homes. I assure you that every possible step will be taken to ensure their rehabilitation.”

As an immediate support measure, Shaheen announced ₹10 lakhs out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the rehabilitation of the affected families.

He urged the District Administration to provide temporary shelters, food supplies, and medical assistance without delay. He also called for a proper survey of the damages to ensure timely compensation.

Highlighting the recurring threats in the region, Shaheen stressed the need for long-term measures to stabilize land in vulnerable areas and prevent such incidents in the future.

“The safety and dignity of our people must remain the foremost priority. I will continue to follow up with the administration until proper relief and rehabilitation measures are implemented,” he added.
