The enhanced funding will be channelised towards repairing and rebuilding public infrastructure, as well as addressing the widespread damage caused by incessant rains, flash floods, and other natural calamities that have disrupted the lives and livelihoods of people across the Union Territory.

Expressing appreciation, Sat Sharma said that Jugal Kishore Sharma has demonstrated true commitment to public service by stepping forward in a time of crisis. He emphasized that BJP’s elected representatives are working shoulder to shoulder with the affected families, ensuring both immediate relief and long-term rehabilitation. He added that the party stands firm with every citizen during this testing phase, and we will make certain that help continues until normal life is restored.

Ashok Koul, acknowledging the step, stated that the calamity has left behind immense suffering, and it is the responsibility of people’s representatives to provide timely and meaningful aid. He added that the BJP’s guiding principle has always been service above self, and this contribution is a reflection of that ethos.

Jugal Kishore Sharma, while announcing the enhanced support, said that the allocation is not just about funds but represents a pledge of solidarity with the people. He underlined that restoration of damaged infrastructure and revival of livelihoods is the topmost priority, assuring that MPLADS resources will be fully utilized for the welfare of those impacted.
