BANDIPORA: The Principal Accountant General, J&K Srinagar, in collaboration with the district administration Bandipora and the District Treasury office Bandipora, today organized a Pension Adalat at the Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat Bandipora.
On the occasion, Deputy Accountant General, Pawan Kumar Rathi, presided over the Adalat and said that it was meant for the facilitation of all participants. He reiterated that no pension case would be accepted in physical mode and emphasized the importance of using the online system for form-filling and documentation.
District Treasury Officer Bandipora informed that awareness sessions on the Pension Suvidha Portal have already been conducted for the benefit of employees and pensioners. He said such initiatives help in bringing transparency and timely disposal of cases.
On the occasion, participants appreciated the services of the Principal Accountant General, J&K Srinagar, for their swift delivery and efforts in making the process easier for pensioners.
During the programme, representatives from the Pensioners United Front Bandipora raised various issues before the officers.
Senior Accounts Officer, presented a detailed overview of the Pension Suvidha Portal and explained the related facilities available for pensioners.
The programme was aimed at resolving pension-related issues and creating awareness among DDOs, pensioners and family pensioners about new facilities available.
