Two flowers bloom within my heart
One whispers love, the other, life’s art
The first, a rose of passion bright
The second a lily pure and white
Love calls me to its tender embrace
Life urges me to find my place
Blossoms the petals. I stand torn
In the garden where flowerily dreams are born
Do I choose the rose’s sweet scent
Or the lily’s calm where time is spent
Each offers joy… yet asks a price
One for the soul, the other, sacrifice.
But in this dance of choice and chance
I find my rhythm, my own existence
For love and life are intertwined
Two flowers in one heart combined
