Srinagar: Gh. Hassan Bhat, a noted columnist with Kashmir Images and a dedicated teacher from Zone Tangmarg, Baramulla, has been conferred with the prestigious UT Level Teacher Award on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
The award was presented to him by the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of J&K, along with other senior officials, at a special function held at SKICC Srinagar. The honour comes as recognition of his outstanding contribution to education, innovation in teaching practices, and unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds.
The achievement has been widely hailed across all sections of society. Tangmarg’s working MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah, former Cabinet Minister and Senior Apni Party Vice Chairman Ghulam Hassan Mir, the Working Journalist Association Tangmarg, JKRETTF, JKTF, Civil Society Forum Tangmarg, and several senior citizens extended their greetings. They described the award as a proud moment not only for Tangmarg but for the entire Baramulla district.
