Majid Larmi (Ang West), Peerzada Faroz (Devsar), Showkat Hussain Ganie (Zainpora), Reyaz Ahmad (Ang East), Choudhary Zaffar (Kokernag) and State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar. Additionally, District Presidents Sheikh Mohammad Rafi, Mohammad Khalil Bandh, and Safdar Khan, senior leader Peer Mohammad Hussain along with YNC South Zone President Feroz Wani, party functionaries attended the meeting.

The primary focus of the meeting was to discuss various organizational matters, ensuring that the party remains well-positioned to face upcoming challenges. Detailed deliberations were held on strengthening the party structure at the grassroots level, revitalizing its outreach efforts, and addressing concerns raised by local leaders.

On the occasion, Sakina Itoo asserted that the present challenges faced by the region were a direct consequence of the policies implemented by those who now criticise the National Conference.

She said, “The opposition seeks to weaken the NC, but they must understand that our strength comes from the people. The people of Jammu and Kashmir know the reality, and the NC will continue to be a force to reckon with. We have always stood by the aspirations of the people, and we will continue to do so.”

She further emphasized that despite all odds, National Conference is committed to serve the people and will work tirelessly to ensure the betterment of Jammu and Kashmir.

Itoo strongly rebutted opposition claims and reiterated the party’s commitment to the welfare of the people.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with the South Zone Committee members reaffirming its resolve to uphold the legacy of the National Conference and continue working towards the betterment of the region.
