Srinagar: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Saturday said that National Book Trust (NBT) will implement Central schemes to enhance library movement in Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking to reporters at SKICC, the Union Minister, per news agency—Kashmir News Agency (KNO) said Jammu and Kashmir has the history of being a hub of many original ideas.

He said some new developments are being made by the National Book Trust (NBT) and the NCP. “As we inaugurated the second edition of Chinar Book Festival, in the near future we will work on giving it a permanent shape,” he said.

He added there is a festive atmosphere among students and other participants of the event—(KNO)
