Power supply to remain affected in parts of Bla and Sgr on July 23

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in parts of Baramulla and Srinagar on July 23 to facilitate essential maintenance and system upgradation works.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, to carry out the testing and sealing of Trivector meter along with CT&PT Combo unit of ESS-II Pattan Railway Station, shutdown of Hamray Tap line of 33 KV Pattan-Amargarh line shall be observed, due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Hamray shall remain off while power supply to Hamray, Tapper, Cold Store, Flour Mill and adjoining areas will be affected from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM on 23 July, 2025.

Similarly, to carry out the works related to evacuation of power from GIS Harwan, shutdown of 33KV Burzhama Tap line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Burzhama shall remain off while power supply to Danihama, Khimber, Tailbal, Burzhama, Gassu, Shopperbagh, Rahbagh and adjoining areas will be affected from 07:00 AM to 01:00 PM on 23 July, 2025.
