Banihal: Four Amarnath pilgrims were injured after the bus they were travelling in met with an accident inside Kela Morh Tunnel-T2 in Ramban district on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, officials said on Tuesday.

They said the bus (RJJ-22PB/1011) met with an accident after the driver lost control of it.

The bus collided with an iron grill inside the tunnel and damaged its front screen, resulting in minor injuries to four persons.

The injured have been shifted to District Hospital Ramban by QRT teams of police, army and other agencies.

The officials said other pilgrims of the ill-fated bus were moved to a separate bus, and the Yatra convoy was allowed to proceed towards Jammu.
