During the visit, the Minister inspected key projects being executed by various departments and issued on-spot directions to officers to expedite their completion. He emphasized the need to maintain quality standards and ensure the timely delivery of public assets.

Recognising the hardships faced by the people during the peak summer months, the Minister emphasised on augmenting the water supply across the constituency. He directed the Jal Shakti Department to ensure adequate and equitable water availability in both rural and urban areas. He instructed the concerned engineers to increase tanker supply in water-stressed pockets and undertake immediate repairs of defunct pumps and pipelines.

Taking note of the scorching temperatures and rising power demands, Satish Sharma instructed the Power Development Department (PDD) to take all necessary measures to ensure adequate electricity supply. He called for robust monitoring of transformers, upgradation overloaded feeders and prompt response teams to tackle power breakdowns. He also asked the officers to ensure scheduled maintenance and timely redressal of consumer complaints.

With the onset of the Monsoon, the Minister reviewed the preparedness of the Health Department. He directed the officers to launch preventive measures to check the outbreak of epidemics and waterborne diseases. He called for intensified awareness campaigns, adequate stocking of essential medicines, regular fogging in vulnerable areas and enhanced sanitation drives in coordination with the municipal bodies.

During the visit, the Minister also interacted with scores of people from different localities and sections of society. He patiently listened to their concerns and issues and assured them of timely intervention and redressal. He reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to holistic and inclusive development of the area.

“Our administration is fully committed towards addressing the core needs of our people in a time-bound manner,” the Minister stated.
