  • Mr. CM, generalisation is not healthy. If you have any issues with some local media outlets, please spell it out; don’t portray all of us as “envelope receiving entities.”
  • Do you think that the entire media fraternity should subscribe to your political ideology? It is not possible. People have their own ideas, ideals and perspectives.
  • News is news, analysis is analysis, comment is comment – what happened on July 13 was news, and to my knowledge, the local newspapers carried it, maybe some have missed it, but where does the envelope or its size come from?
  • Mr. CM, don’t belittle a respectable fraternity. We have faced a lot, our colleagues have been killed, kidnapped, tortured, detained and harassed, during all the regimes since 1990 till date, please don’t sermonise.
  • Even today, we are facing troubles because of some over-enthusiastic officers and some bitter officials, but we don’t complain because we know in our profession, these are just professional hazards.
  • You too have some such hazard; learn to live with these!
