BUDGAM: Speaker Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, today visited the fire-affected families of Surasyar, Chadoora here and took stock of ongoing relief measures.
The Speaker directed the local authorities to quickly assess the losses caused by this devastating fire incident, ensuring immediate compensation of the same to them. He also asked the local authorities and other relief organizations to work in tandem and facilitate the essential supplies like food, clothing as well as temporary shelter to the affected families.
Abdul Rahim Rather, during the visit, also interacted with the affected families and assured them all possible support.
