The plantation drive aims to promote the green initiatives and environmental sustainability in the district.

Javed Rana emphasized the importance of individuals’ contribution in protecting the environment. He said that this initiative aligns with the global efforts to combat climate change and promote eco-friendly practices. “Environmental sustainability is crucial for maintaining ecological balance and ensuring a healthy environment for future generations,” he added.

He stated that similar initiatives have been undertaken in other parts of the country, such as the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, which symbolizes respect for the ecosystem and commitment towards environmental sustainability.

Javid Dar, while speaking on the occasion, highlighted that the government’s participation in the plantation drives demonstrates its commitment towards environmental conservation and sustainability.

“By engaging in such initiatives, the government aims to foster a sense of responsibility among the citizens and promote eco-friendly practices,” he maintained.

This effort is part of a broader strategy to ensure sustainable development and protect the region’s natural beauty.
