Power shutdown scheduled in Pulwama for construction work on 33 KV line

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in parts of Pulwama district to facilitate construction work on a 33 KV Double Circuit Line under Phase-II for the evacuation of power supply to the GIS Lassipora.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdown will affect the 33 KV Lassipora-Pulwama line. As a result, the 33/11 KV Receiving Stations at Pulwama, Pinglena, MM Flour Mill, and the Covid Hospital will remain non-operational.

Power supply to several areas including Pulwama A, B, C, D, Babhara, Pinglena, Tenghar, Muchpuna, Tengpuna, Koil, Tahab, MM Flour Mills, Covid Hospital, and adjoining localities, will be affected on June 23, 25, 28, and 30, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The department has advised residents to make necessary arrangements and has sought public cooperation during the scheduled outages.
