Javed Rana meets delegations; assesses public welfare issues

SRINAGAR: Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, today met with delegations led by Legislator Javaid Beigh and representatives from Tral and Shopian to assess and address various public welfare issues.

The delegation led by Javaid Beigh raised concerns regarding the functioning of Sheeri Narawah Irrigation Scheme and Nowpora Water Supply Scheme in Baramulla town under the AMRUT project.

The Minister assured the delegation that their issues would be addressed at the earliest. He directed the concerned field functionaries of the Jal Shakti Department to take immediate action on all the issues concerning them.

Rana also interacted with the delegations from Tral and Shopian, who highlighted several public welfare issues affecting their areas. He assured them that their concerns would be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt resolution.
