The deadlock continued into the second half as both sides failed to convert their chances. J&K Bank’s defense held firm against repeated RKFC attacks. Despite their dominance in possession and territory, RKFC could not break through J&K Bank’s resilient backline during regular time.

It was during the extra time that RKFC’s Huzaif emerged as the hero of the match. He managed to score the decisive goal, sending the RKFC fans into a frenzy and securing a crucial win for his team.

The defeat marked a rare loss for J&K Bank, which has maintained an impressive record in Kashmir over the years.

With this victory, Real Kashmir FC extended their winning streak in the league, having won both of their matches so far.

Earlier, Real Kashmir FC finished third in the prestigious I-League, showcasing their growing stature in Indian football. RKFC’s owner, Arshid Shawl, has been actively investing in grassroots football development in the region, aiming to nurture local talent and strengthen the footballing ecosystem in Kashmir.

The District Football Association Srinagar is organizing the My Youth My Pride Srinagar Premier Division Football League and features the top football clubs from Kashmir.
