Baramulla, May 22: A tragic road accident claimed one life and left another person injured near Tragpora in the Rafiabad area of Baramulla on Wednesday.

The incident occurred close to Hadipora when a motorcycle carrying two individuals met with an accident under circumstances that are still being investigated. The deceased has been identified as Gulam Mohammad Ganaei, a resident of Nadihal.

Both victims were immediately rushed to GMC Baramulla, where doctors pronounced Ganaei dead on arrival. The second individual is currently undergoing treatment, and their condition remains unknown at this time.

Local police and emergency services arrived promptly at the scene. An investigation into the cause of the crash has been launched, though the exact reasons behind the accident are yet to be determined.
