CII delegation calls on Dy CM

SRINAGAR: A three-member delegation of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) today called on Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, at Civil Secretariat Srinagar.

The delegation was led by Dr M.A Alim, Chairman CII J&K Council, who was accompanied by Iqram Ali Shafiee, Vice Chairman CII J&K and Khurshid Dar, Head CII J&K.

During the deliberations, Dr Alim appreciated the performance of different departments under the guidance of Deputy Chief Minister.

Dr Alim raised several issues including the need for infrastructure upgradation at industrial estates of Srinagar and Industrial Estate Khangrail Jammu.

The delegation offered to set up two Skill Centers one each at Jammu and Srinagar under the aegis of Skill Development Department. They also proposed free training at CII member premises to students of ITIs and Polytechnics.

The DyCM patiently heard the issues of CII delegation and assured all possible support from government to redress their concerns.
