The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from both civil society members and a large number of ITI students. The initiative aimed to sensitize young people about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse and encourage them to adopt preventive measures.

Prominent speakers at the event included Manzoor Ahmad Khaki, Altaf Ahmad, Zaffar Farooq Salati, Shakeel Ahmad, Rao Farman Ali, Bashir Ahmad Chapoo, Mohammad Yousuf Mir, Abdul Majeed Wani, and Waseem Raja, along with student representatives from the institute. They delivered detailed lectures on the causes and consequences of drug addiction, the psychological and social impact on individuals and families, and the importance of timely intervention.

The speakers urged students to remain alert and act as ambassadors of change by spreading awareness within their communities. They stressed the importance of community vigilance, early education, and support systems in curbing the spread of drug abuse in the region.

The event concluded with a call to action, encouraging all stakeholders—including educational institutions, families, and social organizations—to unite in the fight against drug addiction and create a healthier, drug-free society.
