Srinagar: Police in Awantipora have arrested three persons for their alleged complicity in theft.

Sharing details, police spokesperson said that investigating a case of theft of Auto-Rickshaw parked outside the house of the complainant at Ghat Tokina, a police team with the help of modern techniques including CCTV footages of various locations learnt about the involvement of three accused persons — Aakhir Ahmad Wani, son of Fayaz Ahmad Wani of Tengpora Tokuna; Setha Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Akbar Dar, resident of Renzipora; and Adnan Ahmad Bhat, son of Mohammad Altaf Bhat, resident of Renzipora.

Subsequently, all the accused persons were arrested and shifted to police station where they remain in custody. Stolen Auto Rikshaw bearing (JK04D-1894) was also recovered from their possession.

Further investigation of the case is going on.
