District Admin reaches out to fire victims in Narwara Nawakadal

SRINAGAR: Acting swiftly on the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, the District Administration on Tuesday extended immediate assistance to the families affected by a devastating fire incident in Narwara Dangerpora, Nawakadal.

A team led by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Srinagar, Aadil Fareed, visited the affected locality to assess the damage and provide relief to the victims whose houses were gutted in the blaze.

As part of the emergency response, the administration provided essential items, including blankets, mattresses, and kitchen kits. In addition, each affected family received a cash amount as interim relief from the District Red Cross Fund, sanctioned directly by the Deputy Commissioner.

The visiting officials also expressed their heartfelt sympathy with the affected families over the loss of property, assuring them of continued support and assistance in the coming days.
