Sakeena Itoo conducts extensive tour of DH Pora Constituency

KULGAM, MAY 18: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo, conducted an extensive tour of several areas of Damhal Hanjipora (DH Pora) Constituency and had on-the-spot assessment of public issues and development needs in these areas.

During the tour, Sakeena visited several villages and hamlets and held interactions with the local residents, Mohalla community members and representatives.

The Minister, during the interactions, attentively listened to the concerns of people regarding healthcare, road connectivity, power supply, water supply and other day-to-day issues requiring urgent attention of the government.

Addressing the locals at various locations, Sakeena highlighted that the present government is formed by the vote and trust of people and therefore the Ministers are continuously on the ground to listen to the people’s issues, reflecting the commitment of Omar Abdullah led government to grassroots governance. She added that the public service is core objective of the present government.

“Presence and responsiveness to public issues and concerns is main motto of this government,” Sakeena stated.

While responding to the issues and grievances of the local populace, Sakeena assured them that these would be addressed promptly.
