Massive blaze at Industrial Estate Baghi Ali Mardan Khan destroys several factories

Srinagar: Atleast five commercial/ residential including 20 shops were gutted in massive blaze during midnight in main market of Sumbal area of Bandipora district.

Officials said that fire erupted from one of the structures in main market Sumbal and soon engulfed five other structures which include residential as well as commercial structures.

Soon a Fire and Emergency Services from Sumbal, FS Batwina and FS Safapora command Ganderbal, subsequently reached to the main market Sumbal.

The fire was brought under control after hectic efforts from Fire and Emergency services, locals and police.

However, twenty shops were damaged in this incident. More details awaited.(GNS)
