2nd National Lok Adalat on May 31 at Budgam

BUDGAM: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Budgam is going to organize 2nd National Lok Adalat on 31 May, 2025 at Budgam and subordinate courts.

In this connection, all concerned Advocates as well as Persons/parties/Litigants who desire to get their cases settled through the said National Lok-Adalat may approach the concerned courts for referring their aforementioned nature cases for their amicable settlement by or before May 29, 2025.

Cases of Pre-litigation and Post-litigation nature shall be taken up for their mutual settlement in the said National Lok Adalat.

Pre-Litigation involves Commercial/Money Recovery cases and Labour and Employment disputes cases, electricity and water bills and other bill payment cases (excluding non-compoundable) if both parties are ready for mutual settlement and Maintenance Cases.

Post-litigation cases include Criminal Compoundable Offences, NI Act cases, under section 138, Commercial/Money Recovery cases, Motor Accident Claim cases (MACT), Labour dispute cases, Disputes related to Public Utility services such as Electricity & water bills cases etc. (excluding non-compoundable) if both the parties are ready for mutual settlement, Matrimonial disputes (except divorce), Land Acquisition cases, Revenue cases and other civil cases (rent, easementary rights, injunction suits, specific performance suits etc.)

Besides Parties/Persons, whose cases/matters are not pending in any court but are desirous to settle their disputes at Pre-litigation stage can also approach office of the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Budgam personally or through email id: dlsabudgam2020@gmail.com by or before 29 May, 2025, so that their cases, claims/matters can be taken up in the said National Lok Adalat for their amicable settlement.
