Dr. Abdullah conveyed his sentiments while meeting with party office bearers at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, in Srinagar. He shared the pain felt by party members over the tragic loss of lives, injuries, and damage to properties and livestock. Dr. Farooq expressed solidarity with the families of the victims and assured them that the party stands with them during this challenging time.

“Homes and other structures have been destroyed, livestock has perished, and people are fleeing the areas under attack. There is utter chaos in regions such as Keran, Kupwara, Uri, Machil, Poonch, Rajouri, Akhnoor, and surrounding areas along the LoC and IB. Cabinet Minister Javed Rana, our party MLAs, including Ajaz Jan, Dr Sajjad Shafi, are visiting hospitals and supporting those affected. Relief camps have been established in Poonch and Uri areas,” he said adding, “We must intensify these efforts. Local party functionaries should fully dedicate themselves to assisting those in need. In the face of adversity, unity and support are crucial. The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference stands firm in its commitment to aiding those affected by these tragic events.”

Among others party’s General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Addl General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, PP Kashmir Showkat Mir, Party MLAs Shameema Firdous, Salman Ali Sagar, Ahsan Pardesi, State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, Minority Wing Convenor JS Azad, District President Srinagar Peer Afaq were also present on the occasion.
