Rajouri: Authorities on Sunday destroyed two high-explosive mortar shells that were found lying in fields in Chingus Kaneti village of Rajouri district.
Officials said that during the ploughing of an agricultural field in Ward No. 3 of Chingus Kateri, two rusted mortar shells were found.
Locals raised an alarm, and a police team reached the site, and a bomb disposal squad was also called in, after which both these shells were destroyed at the site.
