This pioneering initiative aims to create a skilled workforce in the field of traditional Indian medicine. According to Dr. Masood Iqbal Zargar, Senior Medical Officer AYUSH, who has been engaged as the AYUSH Lecturer at the ANMT School, this initiative will play a vital role in filling vacant positions of AYUSH Pharmacists at AYUSH Arogya Mandirs—previously known as AYUSH Dispensaries and later as AYUSH Health and Wellness Centres.

“This initiative is not just about addressing manpower gaps,” Dr. Zargar added, “it also aims to promote the ancient Indian System of Medicine, known for being natural, cost-effective, and free from harmful side effects—thus making it accessible and beneficial to the larger population.”
