The inaugural ceremony was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Iffat Hassan Shah, Principal and Dean, GMC Srinagar. Dr. Puntambekar was the Guest of Honour, while Prof. Rukhsana Najeeb, Principal GMC Anantnag, and Prof. Dr. Fazl-ul-Qadir Parray, Principal SKIMS Medical College, attended as special guests, marking their presence at this academic milestone.

A special note of appreciation was extended to Prof. (Dr.) Iqbal Saleem Mir, Head of the Department of Surgery and Organising Chairman, whose leadership and unwavering commitment played a pivotal role in orchestrating the workshop.
