Srinagar, April 14: MLA Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah, took part in the prestigious ICC Aviation and Tourism Conference 2025 held in New Delhi.
The event was graced by the Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir as the Chief Guest, along with Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister, and Farooq Ahmad Shah as Guests of Honour.
Speaking at the conference, Farooq Ahmad Shah highlighted the vast potential and opportunities for tourism in Jammu & Kashmir. He emphasized the unique charm of Gulmarg, calling it a world-class destination for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and winter sports enthusiasts.
Shah stressed the need for better infrastructure, improved connectivity, and sustainable tourism practices to fully tap into the region’s tourism strengths. He also appreciated the government’s continuous efforts to promote Jammu & Kashmir as a premier travel destination on both national and international platforms.
The conference brought together leaders from the aviation and tourism sectors to explore ways of boosting travel, enhancing tourist experiences, and creating job opportunities through tourism development.
