JAMMU: Scores of delegations from Jammu and other areas today met Minister for Jal Shakti, Javed Ahmed Rana, at Civil Secretariat, Jammu to apprise him of their grievances and issues.

The delegations raised collective and individual issues and sought their early redressal.

While giving a patient hearing to grievances brought to his notice by various delegations and individuals, the Minister assured the visiting deputations that all their genuine issues would be examined for early redress.

The minister said that the Omar Abdullah-led government is committed to delivering effective governance and ensuring that public grievances are resolved on a priority basis.

He also said that the government has a primary focus on improving the standard of living further and highlighted several key initiatives undertaken by the government in this direction.
