While speaking on the occasion, Sakeena highlighted the government’s commitment towards strengthening healthcare infrastructure across Jammu and Kashmir. She said that the construction on the newly announced 250-bed Maternity and Child Care Hospital will commence soon. “This new facility will significantly boost the Pediatric healthcare services in South Kashmir, ensuring better treatment and care for our children”, she stated.

The Minister said that due to the congestion at MCCH Sherbagh, we have shifted some sections of the hospital to this building, adding that in the coming days, more facilities will be developed here for the ease of patients.

MLA Anantnag-West, Abdul Majeed Bhat (Larmi); MLA Shangus-Anantnag-East, Reyaz Ahmad Khan; Principal GMC Anantnag, Medical Superintendents and other concerned officers accompanied the Minister during the visit.
