Srinagar: A 16-year-old boy lost his life after being hit by a vehicle in Sempora area of Srinagar late Saturday night.

An official said that a 16-year-old scooty rider, a resident of Zaffron Colony, Pantha Chowk, was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle at Sempora, Srinagar.

He said the boy was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment, however, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

He was identified as Faizan Ahmad Nanda (16), son of Mohammad Rafiq Nanda, a resident of Zafran Colony, Srinagar.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard. (KNO)
