Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President, Dr Farooq Abdullah, in his message on International Arbor Day today, highlighted the importance of caring for trees to sustainably protect our planet’s natural resources.

Dr. Farooq emphasized the significance of planting trees and sowing seeds, stating that when a bird, person, or animal benefits from the fruits of a tree, it is considered a charitable gift (sadaqah).
