Mega enrollment drive launched at Govt Boys Middle School Kral Gund

HANDWARA: A mega enrollment drive has been initiated at Government Boys Middle School Kral Gund in the North Kashmir’s district of Kupwara, aimed at boosting student enrollment in government schools across Cluster Nahama in Zone Langate.

The drive, led by Principal Mushtaq Ahmad Wani of Government Boys Higher Secondary School M H Pora actively engages with the community and highlights the advantages of enrolling children in government schools.

Principal Langoo commended the dedication and meticulous preparations of the officers involved in the drive, emphasizing the availability of qualified teaching staff, robust infrastructure, and various beneficial schemes offered by government institutions.

A core focus of the drive was addressing the critical issue of student retention and attendance, particularly in the upper belt of the cluster. Principal Langoo urged school heads to implement vigorous measures to ensure consistent student participation and prevent dropouts. He stressed the importance of creating a conducive learning environment that fosters student engagement and encourages continued education.

“Our primary objective is to provide accessible, free, and quality education to every child,” Langoo said. “We are committed to ensuring teaching staff accountability and achieving academic excellence. The government schools are equipped with the necessary resources and expertise to nurture the potential of our students.”

As a gesture of welcome and encouragement, newly number of enrolled students received gifts from the school staff during the enrollment drive. This symbolic gesture aimed to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere, fostering a sense of belonging and enthusiasm for learning.

Officials confirmed that the enrolment drives will continue in the coming days, extending their reach to more communities within the cluster.

The drive was graced by the presence of the Complex Head Mushtaq Ahmad Langoo, ZEO Langate Molvi Naseer Ahmad. Teachers, parents, and students were also present.

The initiative focused on raising awareness about the importance of education and encouraging parents to enrol their children in Govt. schools.
