Srinagar: Renowned Kashmiri doctor and columnist Dr. Tasaduk Hussain Itoo has been honored with the prestigious Indian Achievers Award 2025 for his outstanding contributions to healthcare, medical education, and public health awareness.
The award, presented by the Indian Achievers Forum, recognizes individuals who have demonstrated excellence, innovation, and leadership in their respective fields. The forum, a registered society under the Society Act, 1860, is recognized by the Government of India and aims to celebrate achievements that contribute to India’s socio-economic progress.
Dr. Itoo’s recognition underscores his extensive academic accomplishments, including medical writing, research, mentorship, and patient care. He is affiliated with esteemed organizations such as the American College of Physicians, the International Diabetes Federation, and the Royal College of Physicians. Currently serving as a doctor at Narayana Health, Dr. Itoo is also a Fellow of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), Belgium.
