Khelo India Winter Games-2025:  Director Health, Principal SKIMS MC Bemina chair joint meeting to discuss health-related preparations

SRINAGAR: Director Health Services, Kashmir, Dr. Jehangir Bakshi and Dr. Fazl Q. Parray, Principal, SKIMS Medical College Bemina, today chaired a joint meeting to discuss important health-related preparations for the upcoming Khelo India Winter Games 2025, scheduled to take place at Gulmarg from March 9th to 12th, 2025.

SKIMS Medical College Hospital which has been designated as a Main Referral Hospital for the event shall handle mandated health emergencies and referrals from the venue during the games.

The round-the-clock availability of specialists, along with the necessary human resources, logistics, and equipment, during the duration of the games, was thoroughly discussed and deliberated. The medical arrangements were meticulously planned to ensure that all health-related needs of participants, officials, and spectators are adequately addressed.

On this occasion, it was further emphasized that the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir and SKIMS Medical College, Bemina will ensure effective coordination and collaboration to provide comprehensive healthcare services, not only during the event but also in the future.

This partnership aims to enhance the delivery of medical care and streamline health service operations across the region.
