Srinagar: Police in Kulgam have arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession, an official handout informed Thursday.
It said at a checkpoint at Damidola crossing, 10.47 kilograms of poppy straw-like contraband substance was recovered from the possession of one Mohammad Syed Parray, son of Mohammad Abdullah Parray of Humshalibugh, who was arrested and a case under relevant sections of law registered for investigation.
