Volleyball tournament concludes in Downtown Srinagar

Srinagar: The Range Police Headquarters Srinagar successfully concluded its Volleyball Tournament today, at Government MPML Higher Secondary School, Bagh-i-Dilawar Khan, Srinagar.

The tournament, which was earlier inaugurated by SSP Srinagar Imtiyaz Hussain Mir, saw its exciting finale today.

In a thrilling final match, Palpora Volleyball Club emerged victorious against Nowhatta Spartan.

The event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests including Nikhat, Principal of MPHL Higher Secondary School, as the Chief Guest, and several guests of honor: Professor Jeelani, Incharge Principal of Gandhi College Srinagar; DySP Mohammad Shafi, ADO RPHQ Srinagar and Shabir Ahmad Rahat, Administrator of the Drug de-addiction centre.

The tournament drew significant community participation, with numerous respectable citizens from Downtown and adjacent areas in attendance. The police officers of North Zone lead by SDPO MR GUNJ attended the event. The event was also graced by the presence of members of the media fraternity. SDPO MR Gunj presented the vote of thanks on behalf of DIG CKR, SSP Srinagar and SP North City and emphasized the importance of the event in fostering police-public relationships and Channelising the positive energy of youth.

This initiative under the Civic Action Programme demonstrates the continued commitment of Range Police Headquarters Srinagar towards community engagement and youth development through sports.
