Srinagar: Police in Sopore have arrested an absconder who was evading arrest since 2012, an official handout informed Thursday.
It said Nayeem Ahmad War, son of Nazir Ahmad War, resident of Warpora Sopore, who had been evading arrest for over 12 years, has been arrested. He was wanted in connection with a case FIR No. 190 filed in 2012 under sections 454 and 380 of the RPC at Police Station Sopore. A warrant of arrest had been issued by a local court against him, police said.
