Srinagar: Two youngsters were injured after being attacked with a sharp-edged weapon by unidentified persons near Baghat area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Monday, officials said.

An official said that two youngsters were injured after they were attacked with a “sharp-edged weapon” in Barzulla, Srinagar.

He said the victims sustained injuries in the attack and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The injured have been identified as Muneeb Feroz (17) of Rawatpora and Shadab Ashraf (21) of Rawatpora, Baghat.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident, and FIR has been registered. (KNO)
