Srinagar: The Meteorological department on Sunday predicted intermittent rains and snow in parts of Jammu and Kashmir till February 10.

An official of Meteorological Centre Srinagar said that weather will likely remain partly to generally cloudy today.

He said on February 3, there is a possibility of generally cloudy weather towards evening with light rain/snow at isolated higher reaches towards late night.

The official said during February 4-5, there are chances of generally cloudy weather with possibility of light to moderate rain/snow at scattered to fairly widespread places till February 5 forenoon, and improvement thereafter.

From February 6-8, the weather conditions will remain cloudy and dry, he said.

He added that during February 9-10, a fresh spell of light rain, snow at isolated to scattered places of Jammu and Kashmir is likely to occur.
