Baramulla: A man lost his life after being struck by a rolling log while collecting firewood in a forest in the Zamboora area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla late Monday evening, officials said.
Quoting officials, news agency JKNS reported that the man was struck by a rolling log while he was collecting firewood in the forest area. He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
They identified the deceased as Mohammad Ashraf Bajad, son of Mangta Bajad, a resident of Zamboora, Baramulla.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered and investigations initiated.
