 House-help held for burglary

Srinagar: Police in Srinagar Friday said they have arrested a house-help (maid) involved in burglary and recovered stolen jewellery from her possession.

Acting on a complaint of Mst Aimen Akhzar, daughter of Peerzada Akhzar Hussain of Umerabad Srinagar, about theft at her parents’ house during the intervening night of 15/16 January 2025, police rounded up some suspects for questioning.
