The event also brought significant recognition to J&K as two of its gymnasts, Rudraksh Khanna and Riya Sharma, were selected for the prestigious FIG Suzuki World Cup, a testament to their exceptional talent and dedication.

Secretary Youth Services and Sports, Sarmad Hafeez expressed pride in the achievements of the J&K team and the successful hosting of the championship. “This event has not only showcased talent but also fostered a spirit of sportsmanship and unity,” he remarked.

Nuzhat Gul, Secretary of J&K Sports Council, while distributing the awards, praised the performance of J&K athletes and their coaches and said that these kinds of national championships provide athletes a platform to prove their mettle. She further assured that more such events will be organized and hosted by the J&K Sports Council throughout the year.
