Bandipora: The death toll in the Army vehicle accident has climbed to four after the injured soldiers succumbed to their injuries, officials said.

They said, the vehicle met with an accident near SK Payeen in Bandipora when it overturned and fell off a hill.

Officials told the news agency JKNS that the death toll in the Bandipora accident has risen to four, while the injured soldiers succumbed at the hospital. Earlier, two soldiers were killed, and three others were injured after the vehicle skidded off the road, causing it to fall from a height.

They said the injured soldiers were immediately shifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment, where two of them were declared brought dead on arrival, while the remaining three are undergoing treatment.

He added that the condition of the injured soldiers is being monitored, and more details are awaited. —(JKNS)
