Jammu: The police on Monday booked and detained a “terror associate” under Public Safety Act in Basantragh area of Udhampur district.
He has been identified as Mohammad Rafiq, son of Mohammad Qasim, resident of Balota Chigla of Basantgarh. This is the fifth detention under Public Safety Act (PSA) in the area.
The officials said the detained “terror associate was involved in multiple terror cases and was working as guide and facilitator for terrorist organizations” till his arrest.
