Srinagar: A man was found hanging from a tree at Khudwani area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday morning, officials said.
An official said that the locals found the man hanging from a tree and informed the police, who took over the body.
“The deceased was identified as Aqib Ahmad Bhat (26), son of Mohammad Shaban Bhat of Khudwani Kulgam. He was a driver by profession,” official said.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in srated inquest proceedings to ascertain the cause of death. (KNO)
