Div Com holds meeting with Nanwai Association, discusses price rise issue

SRINAGAR: In view of growing public resentment against the unilateral & abrupt decision to price hike local bread by Bakers(Nanwais), Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri on Friday held a detailed meeting with the representatives of association to settle the issue.

While giving interim relief to address the crises, the meeting amicably agreed to fix the price of one Roti (approx. 42 gm) at Rs 7 and the price of 3 Rotis at Rs 20 till the Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs department conducts an analysis of the market and submits the report.
