KHAWAS (RAJOURI): Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Chowdhary, today conducted a public outreach camp in the Sadda area of Block Khawas, where he interacted with local residents and listened to their grievances and demands.
The people raised several issues including the construction of roads from Soni Gala to Gadyog and Dangiote to Bandigala, as well as the upgradation of High School Sadda to Higher Secondary School.
The Dy CM assured the public of the timely redressal of their concerns and reiterated the government’s commitment towards ensuring the development of remote areas.
During the visit, Surinder Chowdhary, in the presence of MLA Javed Choudhary, laid the foundation stone for the construction of a 45-meter span motorable bridge at Mangrote over Sadda Nallah. The project, to be executed by PWD (R&B), is estimated to cost Rs 520 lakh.
Surinder Chowdhary assured the public that the bridge project would be completed in time while asking the officials to ensure high-quality standards during construction.
The deputy Chief minister reaffirmed the government’s focus on addressing developmental gaps and improving infrastructure in rural areas.
The public expressed gratitude for the initiation of this vital infrastructure project, which will significantly improve connectivity in the region.
