SHOPIAN: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Shopian, Shabir Ahmad Kullay today held a public darbar at Peerpora Shopian in order to listen to public welfare and development issues.
The meeting was attended by several officials including Ex. Engineer KPDCL, AD FCS&CA, BDO Chitragam, AEE, Jal Shakti and other officers and officials from Revenue and Education departments.
The darbar provided an open platform for residents to voice their concerns regarding electricity supply, water availability, road connectivity, education, ration distribution, etc.
The MLA issued on-the-spot instructions to officers for immediate resolution of the issues raised during the outreach event.
He emphasized the importance of public participation and accountability in governance, assuring citizens of sustained efforts to address their challenges effectively.
